Semantic WEb of EveryThing - October 13th, 2016
To be held in conjunction with WI'16 (The 2016 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence)
October 13-16, 2016 - Omaha, Nebraska, USA
The Web of Things (WoT) is an extension of the World Wide Web to physical devices, capable of interfacing with the real world and exposing data and/or services as addressable resources.
The first edition of the International Workshop on Semantic WEb of EveryThing (SWEET) will focus on integrating, optimizing and exploiting artificial intelligence technologies in WoT and pervasive computing scenarios. This will help pushing the Web Intelligence boundary toward a Semantic Web of Smart Things, where information is endowed with machine-understandable semantics and devices provide adaptive capabilities for information discovery, reasoning, learning, planning and coordination.
The workshop will provide opportunities for researchers and practitioners alike to keep in touch with novel ideas and tools, as well as to exchange experiences.
