The PhD Student Research Competition (SRC) Program is designed to provide PhD students (from XXX cycle to XXXIII cycle) the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with Poliba Community in the Conference theme: Industry 4.0.
All research abstract submissions will be reviewed by Poliba PhD and industry practitioners. Authors of three best selected abstracts will have the opportunity to share their research idea through poster presentations in the poster session in the Conference and compete for the three top winning places. The SRC committee will evaluate the posters and select first, second, and third place winners. The first place winner will receive an awards during the conference.
PhD students are invited to submit research abstracts, of maximum 2 pages.
Abstracts must address original and unpublished research work related to Industry 4.0 challenges with emphasis on the innovation behind the research idea. The submission should address the research problem being investigated, the proposed approach and research methodology. In addition, the abstract should reflect on the originality of the work, innovation of the approach, and applicability to real-world problems.
Submissions for joint projects are not allowed. Only the name of the sole author of the work (PhD student) can appear on the submission, not co-authors allowed.
