Abstract
The FLET 4.0 project proposes the development of innovative methodologies for maintenance processes of complex engineering systems, based on intelligent data processing that can be detected by intelligent technology enabling technologies. It involves the development of algorithms that allow an intelligent management of information to simulate scenarios, reduce the time of availability of data and optimize maintenance interventions as well as costs to the end user. It starts from the problem of managing the collected data of different objects.
Applications are maintenance of aircraft engines, rail systems and satellite systems.
The project is financed by “National Research Programme (PNR) 2015 -2020“.

Services
AIRCRAFT ENGINES
The project aims to create an algorithm able to provide a plan of engine landings (Removal Plan) and a general maintenance plan (Maintenance Planner-MP) applicable to an aircraft engine fleet. It is aimed at maximising their availability at the end user and minimising the time and costs of ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance work.
RAIL SYSTEMS
The project aims to develop new technologies and enabling methodologies for operators directly involved in maintenance thanks to the introduction in the production cycle of visual information systems (augmented reality, reverse engineering) to support remote maintenance activities of railway vehicles and opto-electronic measurement systems of railway infrastructure.
SATELLITE SYSTEMS
With reference to the current operational scenario of space missions, the project aims to develop a system that can highlight alarms and ordered lists of controls suggested to the operator based on the identified anomalies or the level of novelty for the specific behavior found.
